If you’re looking for great local food try Kiosko La Poncena. The food is made fresh and varies daily. La Poncena offers seafood as well as local meat dishes. Today’s octopus salad was fresh and the serving size gave enough leftovers for breakfast {that’s if you can handle octopus for breakfast!} The baked chicken was a refreshing change from the usual fried food which is so prominent here on the island. All dishes come with a heaping of rice and beans, garden salad or local side dishes which may be vary each day so there’s no room for boredom. Kiosko La Poncena is located past the airport as your heading towards flamenco beach. If you’ve had a long hard day in the sun and you’re too tired to go out They Deliver! Just call 787-808-7884 anytime Tuesday thru Sunday {closed Mondays} between the hours of 11am and 9pm. Picnic tables are available on site and allow for a  great view of the airport to watch the planes land. Que bueno!
