School will begin on Monday the 10th. They are interested in finding people with a particular passion that they would like to volunteer to share with the kids on Monday afternoons (1-2:30). This is an attempt at giving the kids "electives"
during our "cold" winter months, in place of swimming lessons which they usually do at that time. The kids have expressed interest in art, woodworking, music (I have flutophones and a keyboard), and sports at this time. They would also be interested in offering cooking or writing/poetry/whatever classes. My feeling is that if you have a passion that you would like to share with the kids, we may be able to put it to use. This is a great group of students eager to embrace new experiences. Thanks, Abbie
