A reliable source has told the Culebra.net web blog that parking meters will be coming soon to the downtown area. The thinking is that it will eliminate people squatting parking spots. Cars are left for days while people go to the main island. It will also generate much needed revenue for the new municipal government. In other parking news. Any vehicles left in the main airport parking lot more than 12 hours they will be ticketed. If you are going to be gone for more than 12 hours then leave your vehicle in the parking lot adjacent to the airport, behind the bakery. Vehicles have been in that lot for 7 years or more so time is not an issue J
