Greetings to all and welcome to a new edition of From the Mayor’s Office, keeping you updated with the news in City Hall.
The Municipality of Culebra is proud to invite you to the Annual Mother's Day activities on Sunday, May 8th. There will be prizes and live music.
Our Mayor will be going to Banco Gubernamental tomorrow morning to deal with the city debt. More updates when he returns.
The Elementary School will be having their annual field day on Friday April 22nd.
Graduation preparation gets underway in May. The entire community is invited to help as always.
Sixth Graders graduate on May 25th
The Ninth Graders and Senior Class will graduate on May 27th.
The Prom will follow the Graduation Ceremonies at Cost Bonita.
As summer approaches several programs for kids will be available like:
If you are between the ages of 5 and 18 you are eligible for free breakfast and lunch at the school cafeteria all summer long. Need to check if the school is providing the summer campo this year (remind me to check that out). Centro de Apoyo
Centro de Apoyo a la Familia (or what everybody calls Las Monjitas) will have their summer camp, starting June. For more information, contact Sister Teresa.
The gym will now be open until 8:30p for open gym. The weight room and sauna are open from 7a to 8:30p.
AEROBICS! Classes are being given form 5 to 6 Monday through Thursday in the gym.
New Hours for City Hall:
Open to the public, from Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
